hi there, i got to your blog when i googled AMPPE - my boyfriend just got diagnosed with this condition and he has to be hospitalised, and i'm worried. how is your condition now? you got a full recovery ? thanks so much dear:)
Hi Grace. I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. In my situation, it wound up being a related but different condition: MEWDS. Eventually it went away on its own after a month or so, though I still feel like the flashes are there every once in a blue moon. I feel very lucky to have had a pretty full recovery. These are very rare conditions, so I would recommend getting the best retinal specialist you can. All the best to you and your boyfriend. Please keep me posted.
hey babe, thanks for the reply :) my boyfriend's been discharged from the hospital already - he was given steroids to quicken his recovery. docs say he should recover within the next few weeks, am hoping this is true! thanks :) you take good care too! glad to hear that you've gotten a full recovery :)
